Hi, I'm new to this & I just wanted to ask a few things. I've had my baby dragons for about 2 months now, there around 11-12 weeks. I have 2 of them but I think there boy and girl, they are both in the same viv and I've not seen a problem they've been fine together but I've noticed one of them is missing a toe? Should I go and buy another viv and separate them or shall I just leave them?

Many thanks for your help x

Afternoon Natty,

As the above user stated, definitely separate them if you have not already. As convenient as it is for keepers to have multiple in one enclosure it is a great mental/physical strain on the dragons. I am unsure if the missing toe is due to housing the two together or was prior to purchasing, but that is a small example of what can happen with them together.

Thank you both so much! I am now in the process of getting a new viv, it arrives at the end of the month I know that's still a few weeks but it was the best any pet shop could do sadly, so far no more missing toes! X

I can get some cardboard, but as I said the heat lamp is more to the right side of the viv..

Can you buy another heat lamp? You can go to any hardware store and get a light fixture and halogen flood bulb all for about 10 to $15.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
