My guy is the opposite. He is quite active early in the morning and into the early afternoon and gets a bit tired by the end of the day. I think some of it has a lot to do with personality and shouldn't be a problem if you can accommodate it.

She knows you will take away her bug snacks and this is why she is dashing about catching and gobbling them down (at the last minute before her human spirits them away .... she probably thinks you are eating them .... naughty human).
BTW my lizards are all night owls, they love to watch TV (even have fav shows) and Rex loves her before bed snuggles. Lights out for my lizards at 10pm.
