Im letting my beardie run around my room (its quite empty at the moment) and shes not sitting on her log that i put put and made a weird sound, licked the air and flicked up her beard (like shes puffing) and it went back to normal. What type of behavior is this?? Thanks!

I also forgot to add, how do i reduce her stress marks on her belly? I frequently see them (very faint but visible) i did am 'experament' and took her sunbathing for 1-2&1/2 Hrs and they completely dissapeard. I have a UVB light and an 100 Watt, and have stress marks when sunbathing in her tank. Any advice on how to reduce them? And is it normal??

It sounds like she is curious and exploring which is a good thing. They tend to lick everything and react to different objects/stimuli in their environment. The stress marks have a misleading name in my opinion. Dragons will get darker or lighter depending on if they are trying to absorb or reflect heat/light as well as to convey mood. The belly lines are very common on younger dragons and aren't necessarily a sign of anything being wrong.

I wouldn't think that would cause a problem. Did she eat it too or just lick it to test it out? They tend to lick everything they come across to learn more about an object.

She licked it and got it stuck on her tongue, i took it put before she cpuld eat/lick it all. It was a very small feather though.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
