I have a custom built enclosure measuring 4'L x 2'W x 2'H and I just hung a Reptisun 10.0 T5 inside the enclosure attached to the top. The ballast has a reflector and is mounted facing downward in the tank over his basking spot. The basking spot is about 14" below the lighting fixture. Is this right where it needs to be with the reflector or should I remove the reflector? I originally had a T8 fixture, but after reading, it seemed at this distance, the UVB would be too little.
