My bearded dragon doesn't eat crickets.

After my beardie gets warm I try to feed him. He wont got near crickets at all. I will put some fruits and veggies and he devours then in seconds. He is always ready for a superworm, but I try not to feed him that much because he is only around 8 or nine inches long. Crickets he will show no interest at all. I don't want to starve him, but I also don't want him to get impacted and maybe get paralyzed. Please help Cocoa out.

My baby dragon hated crickets, and to be honest I did too.

I got dubia roaches and he devoured them! Definitely would recommend them

Dubia roaches are a good option as a main feeder. I also recommend silk worms and black soldier fly larvae (Phoenix Worms) if you can get your hands on those. They are a good supplemental feeder. At that age/size he still needs plenty of protein to grow. It's great that he likes his veges though. Keep offering him a nice salad every day.

Thanks for the feed back I gave him some dubias he didn't seem interested but then he bit one. Unfortulally he spit it out should I starve him until he eat insects that give him the right amount of protien

Don't starve him, just try and offer a rotating variety based on what you can get. He'll dig in eventually and get what he needs.
