Our 4 yr old female scratched her way out of window screen when we were not looking. We thought for sure she was gone for good though we searched for days and advertised. Amazingly she was caught by lovely neighbors 1 1/2 blocks away. She looked healthy. About 4 days after being home she started laying eggs all over the house as well as in cage. She is still laying eggs after a week- about 30 eggs now. When will this end. Any thoughts? Bye the way she was missing for TWO WEEKS!
