So my beardie has been brumating (hibernating) for like 7 months! He won't eat or move all day. I'm worried about him. I think he might have an internal disease or calcium deficiency, but how can I know for sure? He's about 18 months old and was always very active before this past winter.

I couple things need changed ASAP. Get rid of the heat pad. Beardies can't feel heat on their bellies and will burn themselves. You need to start using calcium 5 times a week. It is very important. He could have mbd if you haven't been using it. Also do you have a UVB light? And if so what brand is it

Agreed on the heat pad and calcium. You might also try to find some critical care/boost. I think they carry this at petsmart/petco. http://www.amazon.com/Fluker%60s-Repta-Insectivore-Carnivore-Emergency/dp/B001EUI246/ref=sr_1_2?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1366949302&sr=1-2&keywords=Repta-Aid

UVB light is VERY important. If you don't have a UVB light, get one asap. I would suggest a Reptisun 10.0 linear tube light. http://beardeddragonbreeder.net/lighting.html It will greatly increase the health of your beardie if he's not getting any UVB. UVB helps process calcium.

I'd also add that you should really check the temps with a digital thermometer or a temp gun. Stick on gauges can be VERY inaccurate. I use this one, cheap and works great for this purpose. http://www.amazon.com/Etekcity-Temperature-Non-Contact-Infrared-Thermometer/dp/B00837ZGRY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1366948964&sr=8-3&keywords=temp+gun The temp should be taken directly where your beardie basks.

If you're really worries, I would take him to see a vet.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
