My bd has never been tested for the virus. But she has had lots of medical problems in her life. I unfortunaly have to put her down.
.I am concerned if I get another bd and use the same tank what would I use to kill off the germs? Someone told me bleach will not do it but novalsan{ spelling} will. How would I go about it? Can i soak any blankets in a novalsan solution and then wash in hot water?

id just bleach it. and wait a little while honestly. without a host "germs" dont exactly live long. soak it in a high concentrate of bleach and let it sit for a little while like a week than re-bleach.

Hello,

Adenovirus is a virus & not a genetic disorder/disease.
Normally nothing really kills Adeno, but steaming has been shown to be very effective for killing & getting rid of the particles.
Be careful with bleaching anything heavily due to the toxic fumes that can accumulate when the tank is heated back up.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
