Keep in mind that, with any reptile, growth rates vary GREATLY depending on the what kind of care they were given as youngsters, including temperatures, food choices, UVB exposure, etc. Without knowing the year he hatched, there's no real way to tell your ig's age for sure other than being able to say whether he's an adult (large) or "probably" a hatchling/juvenile (still small).
