Proper care is largely a term based off of opinion in this case. Much like telling someone how to raise their child. There are many ways to do it, and everyone thinks the way they do it is the right way
In my opinion, there are many many great resources on this website to help someone determine whether or not they should use sand or any other loose substrate in their enclosures. If someone comes to that determination based off of a tiny picture, well they weren't going to do much research and learning in the first place now were they?
The two pictures that rotate at the top are actually the same dragon I believe. The site owners dragon from many many years ago just for some extra info
