Hi Everyone! I’m thinking about changing ziggys staple feeder to BSFL as it is cheaper than dubias and I’m getting a crested gecko that can also eat BSFL. She has been on supers for about a month and I started hearing bad things about it being her staple. When I get the BSFL I know you don’t have to dust with calcium but what about D3? Will she still need that? And will I need to still dust with vitamin? One more question, she’s going to be 15 months in a few days I’ve been feeding her one time a day dusting calcium 5 days a week and vitamin 2 days a week is that ok or should I change her feedings. Should I feed her veggies twice a day?

BSFL are a good option for feeding. It's still good to offer a variety when you can. You don't need to dust them, but I would continue to dust roaches and other bugs that you offer. If UVB is intense enough (using a T5 or a MVB in most cases) then they can synthesize their own D3 and don't need supplementation (this is still debated).

At that age, she should be starting to eat more and more veges. A nice big salad should be offered every day. A variety of veges should help provide needed vitamins and nutrients, so I don't think you'll need to rely as much on supplementation.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
