After struggling with ordering and receiving live insects, I decided to try my luck with raising mealworms. After about a week, I was seeing tons of healthy pupaes. A few days later I had hundreds of healthy darkling beetles. I replace their food often and make sure that they have plenty of moisture. I have been keeping these guys for months with constant care, but I haven’t seen any eggs or mealworms. After a couple of weeks I sifted through the bedding and put it into another container, but no eggs or mealworms. I don’t think they could be eating them, as I haven’t seen any (and I check daily). Am I doing something wrong? I was hoping to have plenty of mealworms to feed my hungry reptiles!

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
