My experience has been with suppliers in GA (shipping to IA) and I've had good luck using PremiumCrickets. You might want to try using a vendor who is closer to you though. This may help decrease risk during shipping. I haven't tried their crickets but a search turned up American Cricket Ranch in Bonsall, CA. Might be worth giving them a try.

I personally use DubiaRoaches.com. They are very reliable and use a heavy hand in weighing the animals so you usually get more than you ordered... very nice. Their prices are fair, and reasonable.
