Breeding

I tried to breed super worms last year but the beetles never lasted eggs and my power ended up going out and killing the entire colony. I want to try breeding some type of feeder other than crickets and mealworms. Does anyone know any relatively easy feeders to breed?

black soldier fly larvae are a popular option. There is a guide to breeding them here https://www.beardeddragon.org/articles/growing-phoenix-worms/

Silk worms are also popular but require a source of mulberry leaves or plenty of mulberry chow. Kingofnobbys has posted some guides for how to raise silk worms that may be helpful.

Roach colonies are also popular since they are relatively hands off, especially after they are established. Roaches aren't allowed in all locations though, so best to check if they are allowed in your area before getting a colony going.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
