Black bugs with mealworms

Postby HelloKaitie » Tue Jun 18, 2019 12:53 pm

Just recently bought my beardie a container of mealworms as a treat. I started feeding him some and I noticed a small bug/larvae looking thing. To me it looks like a fuzzy little Caterpillar or a pupae. I was wondering what it is and if anyone has experienced this. I have only found one so far but it is a rather large count..Thanks in advance I'm trying to attach some pics ATM..

It looks like either a mealworm pupa or maybe a dermestid beetle pupa that may have been part of a cleaner crew. It shouldn't pose any harm.
