I just bought the gel food for hornworms by repashy however they do not seem interested in it at all. I followed the instructions I believe but they don't want it. Has anyone experienced this? Did I maybe do something wrong?

It gelled up nicely, I wonder if I added to much water or microwaved to long. If anyone has any idea it would be great before a mess up a second batch

If it gelled up it should be OK. Looks like 1 part mix to 2 parts water is the right ratio. Then just mix well, microwave until boiling and cool. I'm not sure why they don't like it though. I haven't tried using that for hornworms before. Do you have it at the top of an inverted cup? When I order hornworms they usually come in a cup with a ladder and eat the food while inverted.

We keep our worms in a rubber maid bin with the worms and the food on the bottom of the bin. We have always fed them squash this way for years without any issues, they just don't seem interested in the gel food.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
