cricket breeding soil

Hi I'm new to breeding crickets today I had my first pinheads hatch

I'm wondering if I've compacted the soil too much in one of my breeder tubs and will the pinheads be able to dig their way out or should I dump the soil in the storage box to loosen it and allow them to escape once hatched?
