There are several good sources out there. I ordered a mix pack from ABDragons to start my colony and they are thriving.

I ordered about 600 mixed sizes with no adults and started seeing a new generation after about 3-4 months. If you order some adults (more expensive up front) along with mixed sizes you may start to see a new generation establish sooner. It's good to have mixed sizes to stagger the generations a bit. Alternatively you could check local listings for someone who is selling an established colony ready to go.
