I am looking into more things to feed Spike. She isn't very old, still a baby, and a little over 9 inches long now.
She turns her nose up at crickets and will only eat dubia roaches on RARE occasions so buying them is almost pointless. She is quite happy with her BSFL right now and that is about the only worm I buy her. The problem I am having is that I can normally only get a 200 count of them at a time as every site I found has limited quantities and she is going through them like crazy. Even the 'large' aren't all that big.
I was looking at Blue Bottle Fly Spikes (aren't all that big either). It says they contain 20% protein and only 6% fat. Anyone try them? Opinions on them?
Also butterworms.... the problem I am having is that I can only find places that sell 'jumbo' butterworms; stating that they are about 1.25" to 1.5". To me that seems a little too big to feed her, right?
Silkworms, too, but haven't found a site that has any in stock.
I am open to other feeders if anyone has any ideas.
