I just started a colony about 2 weeks ago. The current bin has a screen opening about 6x18. Plenty of ventilation, but tough to get a warmer temperature in the garage. I picked up another tub and put this vent on and added window screen on the inside. Will this be enough ventilation? Or should I add another on the other side? The holes are (3) 2" circles.
ETA: Also, where is the best place to take the temperature or place the thermostat probe?
