I was wondering if any one here has tried breeding black soldier fly larva (phoenix worms or reptiworms) to feed their dragons? If you have how did you do it? I have seen plans online for 20 gallon tubs but i feel like that would be way too much for one beardie. I would breed dubia roaches but i live in florida and their illegal here.

You can probably culture them outside, they are native to the southern US. Google around for "biopod" or other black soldier fly composers. There are how-to guides to make then from 5 gallon buckets. Chicken and fish keepers use them too.

Also, I belive discoid roaches are legal in Florida, you may be able to find some of them. They are very similar to dubia.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
