Dubia colony

Hey so I'm trying to start a Dubia colony and I have 50 of them right now 40 females 10 males.
Was wandering if I can get some pictures of the habitat setups, need help creating one. Saw that some people used egg cartons but didn't know how to set them and if I need to put a substrate or if not. Pictures would be extremely helpful

I use cardboard tubes and no substrate. The tank sits on a bakers rack to provide ventilation underneath. Heat mat is on one side under the tubes and fresh food goes on the other.

I keep my breeding colony similar to cooper, I use egg flats and a roller board but otherwise the same setup.


I keep my 'feeders' in a 20L terrarium. They are fun to watch and I have caught them breeding in there as well.
