That's an interesting read from a reputable source. Thanks for sharing. I didn't know about those protein thresholds for roaches but it backs my observation about having a healthy colony fed exclusively on leftover veges and occasional citrus.

The more I read cooper, the more I am seeing that.. Unfortunately, I am impatient, and made a whole crapload of chow( before finding all of this out) Lesson learned.. I am going to use the chow I made.. What I might do is just add another pound of oats and roll with it.. I may only offer it to them a few times a week though.. Not every single day..

Or you could try mixing the chow in with a diet of vegetables. Just thin it out a bit and extend the period you offer it. Kind of a supplement to fresh food.

Yeah, no reason not to offer it if you have other things. They know enought it pick what they want.
