Just built a 4x2x2 enclosure for my beardie and sealed it with Minwax One Coat water based Polyurethane. I coated it 3 times just to be safe (lol).

It's been Sitting for 48 hours. Is that long enough? Everyone just says let it sit for awhile.... Whats awhile?

If you can still smell any type of fumes, it's not cured.

Do you have the lights setup in it? That can help with the curing time. Water based cures quicker, but I still find I need to let it cure much longer than the instructions say.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I have had the basking light running it's normal 14-15 hour cycle for 2 days now, as well as had a fan blowing on it for 24 hours.

My nose is not great... So I'm not the best judge of if there are still fumes or not! Which is my biggest concern! I don't want to put my little guy in an unsafe enclosure!

Close it up if you can, let it bake with the lights for a few hours, then stick your head in there and see if it smells different than the air outside of it. Or have someone else. I still was smelling my product over a week later, and it said it would be fully cured in 48 hours!

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
