Ok so I'm a total n00b at bearded but I'm building my first enclosure. Typical 4x2x2.
I had a question about my vent placements. I was orginally going to do a solid roof but now I'm thinking of doing a removable top. I was going to do 4 vents in the top along the entirety and do stainless mesh under each. I was also planning on making the pieces I cut out be able to go back in to cover vents that I may or may not need.
My question is should I do the vented top or just stick with a vent on the hot side up high?
I'm going to be cutting the vent into the enclosure the typical vent covers that you normally see on crossfire enclosures. I'm planning on sandwiching the stainless mesh, for the side vents, between little trim piece to make an inlayed vent.
From my basic understanding of convection I know that I need a bigger can't on the hot side (high) than the cool side (low)
What Would you guys suggest?
What size vents would you cut for both, if you suggest going with side vents and not the roof venting.
Sorry for the rambling, its hard to put my ideas into words haha, hopefully they same across somewhat logical.
