I built an enclosure out of a desk. I want to do something with the walls, I tried with a pack of shims from Lowe's but found out it was white cedar which is toxic. Gallery includes walls and no walls. What can I use for walls that is safe? Bonus points if he can climb it?

Are you trying to build something like rock outcrops? Some people do that with foam cutouts that are sealed with mod podge or glue sealant etc. If you want to just dress up the sides a bit you could paint them with some latex paint or you could print out a large photo to create a natural looking background for the wall. I do this with my enclosure and it works well.

I was thinking that too paint something. Problem is it's ****ty mdf board, it was a desk so the back part isn't even waterproof it's the thin plastic.i was in home Depot and almost bought this really cool board, but then I flipped it and read it had formaldehyde. Not cool.

Oh well. They sometimes treat wood with some nasty stuff so I'm glad you looked into it. Maybe just a poster sized photo would work. A print shop can print out a photo to a specified dimension for you. This is how I have it set up along the back and one side of my tank.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
