Building custom tank lid- what screen do I need?

I just got a 72x18x22 (inches) and I’m building a custom lid since it doesn’t have one. What screen is safe to use for heat lamp fixtures, and should I use the same screen for ventilation throughout the top of the lid I’m making?
would I be able to find it at a place like Lowe’s/home depot?

Is it a glass tank? I'd use metal screen, especially if you're going to put lights on it. Build a nice sturdy wood frame with some crossbars for support. If it's a wooden tank you can use a solid top and then just put some vents on each side of the tank.
