I'm looking at making my first encloser but need some advice on material and sizes.

I'm looking to using something similar to this:
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F271513433025

Mainly for the shape and style, I'd remove the draws completely and cut the shelf in half and use one of the slots for the draws as a hide, fit sliding glass to the front. Also I would add a ramp to go on top on the hide.

The problem I'm having is the unit is made out of pine, I know I can line the enclosure with other material etc. Also this is not the unit I'd be going for, I will be buying a bigger one as I know this one is small for a beardy enclosure. Has anyone got any advice for my first enclosure?

I agree that one is too low. If you go with a larger version of this, I'd try to open it up more. Remove both drawers and give yourself a big open space. Then create hides and levels using branches and things that are a bit more natural for them.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
