Safe materials for building

Hi
Can anyone suggest any safe materials for building hides and climbing structures for beardies for example any safe clays etc ? I'd love to improve their vivs and give them more climbing opportunities and places to escape from the heat but I want to make sure I'm only using safe materials? Thanks for any help !

I used styrofoam to shape the hides and climbing platforms, and then made them sturdier by putting a couple of layers of grout on top. Then I painted it and sealed it with a few layer of mod podge.
