Would this be a good project?

I want to make a new enclosure that can house both of my dragons separately. I was thinking about building it out of a dresser and found this one online. It has almost the exact measurements that 2 40 gallon tanks have when placed right next to each other. If I just take out the drawers, clean up the exterior a little, figure out the wiring for lights, and put glass in the front, I think I could really make this work? What are your thoughts? I've never built anything before and any input would help me greatly. Thanks.

Hi Brit, I'm not handy with doing that type of thing but it looks like a nice piece to work with ! If you post this in the enclosures or DIY section you might get more of the engineering brains to view it and offer suggestions.

Would be great DIYS conversion project ..... lots of people here (Australia) convert quality solid timber display cabinets, TV cabinets, buffets , coffee tables into lizard enclosures.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
