I don't know how helpful I'll be, I don't have a beardie yet, and for personal/school reasons I haven't had much time to finish my enclosure (I have the styrofoam structures but I still have to grout and seal them)

But basically you make a structure out of styrofoam/polystyrene. You can do this by taking polystyrene sheets and cutting/glueing them (make sure you use glue for polystyrene) or using the poly-expendable foam and shaping it the way you like.

Next you have to grout it. Grout is kinda like fluid concrete, I guess? It is used for tiling, for example (wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grout ). You can mix it with sand to give it more structure, so your beardie doesn't slip.

Lastly you have to seal it, so it is waterproof and safe. You can do this by adding a few layers of Mod podge (you can google it, it is a kind of craft glue, and there are many different kinds, but you can't buy it everywhere. I had to order it from Amazon, because you can't buy it in Belgium). Another sealant you can use is polyurethane.

Here is some more information: https://www.beardeddragon.org/articles/falserock/

I hope this helps!

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
