home made hammocks and fire

I want to make my own hammocks for lizzie....
You know deck out her pod in Packer Gear etc....
But -
does anyone have any advice against this?
Fire hazard of fabric? It will be about half way up the tank under UV light but just behind the hot lamp.

The combustion temp of cotton is pretty high, so I wouldn't expect a problem if it is keep at a safe distance from the light. If its touching the light or close enough to get excessively hot then the arrangement would also be a burn hazard for Lizzie so probably wouldn't be setup that way.

I am going to put it about half way up the tank so no where near being able to touch source of heat. So I think i will go shopping for some Christmas Fabric for Lizzie LA LALA
