Cleaning Custom Viv Rocks

Hello fellow Beardie lovers!!

I am new to the community and a new beardie owner as of 3 weeks ago! I have a 4 month old beardie named pixie and so far I think she is fitting into her new home just perfectly!

I am planning on building a custom rock background including pillars and platforms in a 40 gal tank.
I am quite surprised I have not read or heard of anyone asking this question before, but how would I go about properly cleaning/disinfecting these custom made rocks? To my understanding, these things are only made of heavy Styrofoam and a stony/grout paint essentially.

Whenever I clean her viv I go HAM. I take no chances with any type of bacteria that could form. I take all the decorations out (Cave/basking rock, hammock, fake branch, feeding bowls) and literally fill my bathtub up and scrub them with hot water and scent free dial soap.
I then dry them off and spray disinfectant (Clorox bleach spray with proper bleach:water ratio) on all items except the bowls. Spraying and cleaning the inside of the glass of the viv as well with disinfectant.

Something tells me that with the material people use for these custom made fake rocks, they would not survive the first cleaning and would either dissolve or completely snap in my hands.
Also, I see some people permanently attaching these fixtures to the glass of the viv? Is that safe/recommended? I would think that there could be a possibility for bacteria buildup between the glass the fake rock wall but I could be wrong.

Please let me know how you clean your custom vivs! This has been the only thing stopping me from carrying out my plans to build an awesome viv that my beardy deserves!

The custom rocks should have a sealant on it. I used modge podge but I haven't installed it yet to confirm.

My first go to would be a steam cleaner.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
