Hi all, I've been thinking of getting a geyri and I have a 40 gallon tank with a slide metal mesh lid that I would like to use. However, I've heard that glass isn't the best at keeping the temps where they should be. I've thought about either having more lights or insulating it with some sort of foam. Those of you who keep uros in tanks let me know how you keep your temps up please!

Hi there,

I used a glass tank for my uro. 125 basking area and 85 cool side were both very easy to achieve :)

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
