Just adopted a 6 year old uro from a guy who didn't have the time for him anymore.
i've read a lot about them on here as well as other websites. i offer him fresh veggies everyday and a lentil and seed mixture the previous owner gave me. he doesn't seem to touch the veggies at all but would rather bury them. it's funny to watch but i'm worried he's not getting any water! help me?!

I wouldn't worry about the water issue.

They do pretty well in regards to a lack of water.

You could try holding back on the lentil meal for awhile and just offer greens if you want.

Yeah, if he eats only lentils he could end up getting a bit constipated from lack of water. I only give my guy lentils in the evening after he has eaten his veggies for the day.

Maybe he is putting them aside for later like squirrels do? :? lol, idk. Maybe hes just taking the food away from the scary bowl and will eat them once your gone. But i agree with what claudiusx said.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
