Today when my bearded dragon had a bowel movement I noticed there was a little white worm in it. His poop is not mushy or anything it looks pretty normal other then the one worm I saw. So my question is should I go ahead and buy the liquid fenbendazole and treat my dragon,or is this nothing to be worried about? Thanks for your help in advance we greatly appreciate it!!!!!

Are you sure it isn't anything he ate and came through undigested? I wouldn't start treatment without having a fecal test done by a vet to determine which parasite is present if any and if the count is high enough to warrant treatment.

I'm. Not sure but I don't think so. I had found a single worm in his poop about a week ago and then again today I found another single small white worm in the shape of a small "s". I saw on a you tube video from CCD they had a vet on there answering questions about parasites and she said something about if the poop isn't runny and mushy and a large amount of worms aren't being seen its normal like I guess? I took it as a worm here and there isn't bad??? He eats and has energy there's not any signs like that so I'm confused on what to do!!!!

It's possibly an adult pinworm but it's hard for me to say. A fecal test may be a good idea to look for pinworm eggs and determine parasite load. A low level of pinworms is fairly common and isn't necessarily cause for concern on it's own but a high level could cause some discomfort and may warrant treatment. I'd carefully sanitize any surfaces that he poops on as quickly as possible. A spray bottle of F10SC is a good idea to have on hand for this.

I haven't seen anymore since I posted this but I still may treat him anyways cause I was told it's good to treat them once a year anyways to help keep them from getting them. Do you think this would be a good idea???

Hello,

Some do a yearly de-worming regime, but others don't. Honestly, I feel that it varies between dragons as to how they handle low levels of worms/parasites. It is a normal occurrence for their gut flora to have small amounts for aid in digestion.
If he seems to be doing ok, then you might want to wait. Though the Panacur is pretty mild & wont hurt him any.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
