MY SILKIE HAS SOMETHING BY HIS EAR AND UNDER HIS LIP. VET SAID NOT TO WORRY ABOUT BUT HLITS GOTTA WORSE. IDNT KNOW IF ITS JUST SHED , FUNGUS, OR BACTERIA

Hi there....how long have you owned him and how many times have you actually seen him shed ? They do shed differently and often look like they have a small scab/wound when it's really normal shed.....but that can also mask an actual problem. Do you put anything on him [ lotion, aloe, etc ] I used pure aloe gel with no added ingredients when I had my silkie . If your guys shed looks irritated you can apply a bit of raw unpasteurized honey mixed with a tiny bit of warm [ NOT hot] water. The honey is a natural antimicrobial and is a great wound dressing if there is any problem area.
