Ok, so I took a few pictures but I'm new to this website (like I made this account 5 minutes ago) and I'm not sure how to upload pictures.
Basically, I got a bearded dragon two or three weeks ago, shes about 1 and a half years old and her tail has looked like this since i got her. It is a bit curved but not bent looking. Probably about 3 centimeters of the tail slowly fades into a darker color. It's not a dark black, but it's still darker than the rest of the tail. There is also a really small indent, like someone had tied a string around her tail really tight. It's barely noticeable, but still concerning. I just need to know if it's tail rot, and remedies for it if there are any home ones, because I'm only 16 and make about 130 a week on a good day and I have to pay for car insurance next week so it won't be until 3 weeks till I can go to the vet. Also, I think she may have a URI. She has saliva in her mouth, and I heard her jaw click when she was sleeping on my shoulder, but i only heard it twice. She's still very active and eats fruits/veggies and worms normally. Her Temps are about 75 at night and 105 in the day, but sometimes it can drop to about 90 because my mom always has the AC running and I know she won't turn it off for my lizard. The humidity says it is 40%. Any ideas about how to keep heat in, and how to cure the beginning of URIs ?? Sorry for all the questions.

The tail looks healthy to me based on that photo. It's common for their tails to darken a bit toward the end. The indent may be some stuck shed. As long as the tail remains the same color and doesn't appear to shrivel, it should be no problem. As for the RI, I'd just keep an eye on it for a while. Try providing some time outside in natural sunlight. Your temps sound pretty good. You could add a ceramic heat emitter on a dimmer or thermostat but I don't think it's really necessary.

Thank you!! Another question, is there a certain amount of time to let the bearded dragon out of the cage? I'm thinking part of the uri is me letting her out to much, but I'm not sure. I will sometimes put a blanket over her if its too cold and she sleep in her cage at night, but during the day when I feed her or when she looks antsy I let her out and she crawls around. On average she's probably out of her cage for an hour 1/2 a day

You can let her roam around as long as it's safe. No other animals in the house or things that could fall on her etc. I use to have my boys out of the tank most of the time while I was home. Usually a couple of hours in the morning and a few in the evening and most of the time on weekends. I liked to bring them outside for natural sunlight too when the weather would allow it. I set up a portable basking light in a dome fixture with a clamp in the living room. They learned to return to it to bask when they got cold. I would also hold them in the evenings while I was listening to music or watching TV. They usually just got comfortable and fell asleep. As long as she is getting at least a few hours (esp around meal time) in the basking area of the tank along with some good UVB, supervised outside time is fine and even beneficial in my opinion.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
