My baby oskar has developed over several hours a half black swollen nostril, I'm super worried, going to call the vets soon but I thought the great people on here might be able to help, thanks

Hi there....there are instructions on how to post pics on the home page under " website comments " So is little Oskar alone or with another beardie that may have bitten him ? Or are there loose crickets in the tank ? These will hide during the day and come out at night to possibly bite a beardie. For now you can put a TINY dab of Neosporin on it. Something else that can sooth a wound is unpasteurized honey....the kind from a health food store or beekeeper, not from a grocery store. [ Unless they carry unpasteurized honey ] Again, just a tiny amount, you don't want to cover the good nostril. But small wounds will often heal on their own as long as there is no further irritation to it.
