My beardie had a fecal test done and it came back with a trace of pinworms. What exactly is that, how would he have contacted it, how is it treated and how do you keep it from re-occurring. Any knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Pinworms are pretty simple to get rid of. The vet will probably give you panacur. During the treatment, your beardie may lose his appetite, that is normal. Just make sure to keep everything clean. You can also get some acidophillz+ to replenish the good gut flora that the panacur might kill, that will keep him from getting an upset tummy. Good luck :D

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
