Today i took Leonard to the vet because he hasnt been eating and just wasnt himself..
Last night i was giving him a bath, gently massaging his abdomen area trying to make him have a bowel movement. While doing this i noticed he had a lump type thing in his stomach. I figured he was clogged up from superworm shells and the other day he ate a small rock. So the vet gave him a few x-rays and there was nothing to be worried about. Thank god
Next thing he put some lubrication on a q-tip and rubbed on his anus. Lenny went.. He then looked at the matter under a microscope and said it is strongyloides.
The doc prescribed some liquid calcium and fenbendezole to treat the parasites..
Lenny should be back to normal in a few weeks.
