Wow I am so glad I thought to buy a steamer to see if it'd work for the pinworms. The steam cleaner cost 80$ and cleans the whole viv without chemicals. I wanted to try a steam cleaner before using the chemicals. I just now read this post and am very grateful I did not waste time with chemicals. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing this Lance and DragonMomSandy! As someone who dealt with parasites in all four of my dragons (cocciddia in 2), believe me, steam is the way to go. Personally, there just seems to be too much risk associated with the fumes from bleach or ammonnia. Also, it takes FOREVER to rinse over and over to be sure there are NO fumes or scent left behind. I bought a steamer at Boscov's for $150 and it was the best investment I made. It works wonders in the vivs, is great for sanitizing everything including furniture and decorations and there is NO WORRYING about fumes.
I use the steamer for my weekly cleaning because it's so easy and reliable. No chemicals = happy beardie!!!

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
