Hi all,

we have just taken Randall to the vets for a check up. We have had him for 7-8 weeks now. He is 7 months old and beautiful.
We took a stool smaple with us as Randall does the smelliest POO's. The vet showed us the slide under the microscope and we saw 2 worms... URRRGH!! Anyway, she said Randall is healthy and his worms can be cleared.

We gave him the dose of panacur and will do the second dose in 10 days time. Should we worm him every month? We got enough Panacur to store in the house but we were unsure how often he should be wormed.

Hope someone can help.

Love Lindsey, Ben and Randall.

Hello Lindsey, Ben and Randall, after the dosing I would do another fecal just to make sure. I also would not deworm every month because the meds are hard on their system. Just my 2cents and good luck.

Hello,

Lance is right there is no need to deworm monthly it can be hard on their system. Deworming is normally only done routinely a couple of times a year or as needed. :D

I 100% agree with Tracie and Lance. We only use Panacur as a preventative de-wormer twice annually. We are also sure to start administering acidophilus after such treatments. The acidophilus will help restore the beneficial populations to your dragon's digestive tract.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
