I am concerned with one of my bearded dragon’s spikes.

Hello, can anyone tell me what is wrong with this spike on my beardie is it rotted?

If you know what is wrong with it can you tell me what I can do to help them heal it please if it can be healed?

I am worried the spike is rotting and that it might fall off if you have any questions on my beardie that will help you know what could be wrong just ask.

Hi there, beardies developing a few damaged scales or spikes is no problem, they are rough + rugged and often end up with little blemishes/scratches here + there. Nothing to worry about. :)

@AHBD will the spike heal on its own with time? And thanks my beardie is spoiled they never get hurt or anything so I just didn’t know how this happened it worried me it’s good to know I have nothing to worry about.
