So my beardie has not pooped the past 3 day and not yet today! He usually poops every other day or every day, he is 6 months old. I had to take him on a road trip from CO > CA which was a 2 day trip. He pooped the first day of the drive but hasn't pooped since. I checked his temps the whole drive and had a basking light set up and everything. How concerned should I be that he hasn't pooped? I gave him a warm bath this morning and he drank some more water. He seems happy, no stress marks, has a great appetite and everything. His back legs are working completely fine, and his stomach only seems a little bloated, not too bad at all.

How concerned should I be? Should I just wait, or should I try more methods (i.e. a drop of olive oil).

Should I not feed him or feed him less until he poops? I don't want to stress his system with too much food.

This can all be attributed to the move, try not to worry. He'll be back to normal soon. If it lasts much longer than a week just try some unsweetened applesauce, baby food squash or canned pumpkin with no spices. You can feed him, and since he drank some water today that should also help him to poo.

Okay, I'll pick up some applesauce and squash baby food to have on standby. He is looking more bloated today and has been moving around the tank a bit (sometimes this means he needs to poop). He still has no stress marks and an appetite so I won't worry myself too much. Gonna give him another bath though (he likes them too).

He has some stress mark now... not much though... I think he's about to poop or at least needs to... we'll see.

I gave him another long warm bath and he FINALLY POOPED!!! He seemed a little more strained than the usual little butt wiggle, but he did it <3 hopefully he will adjust to the new environment and get back on his usual schedule!

That's good, sometimes they go a few days w/out a poo and as adults can go even a few weeks at certain times. A warm bath often help, along with the laxative type food items mentioned.

He pooped today as well! Yay! HOWEVER, I'm a little nervous after yesterday, I let him run around outside his tank and I saw him eat something off the floor!!! I try to clean up before doing anything like this but he found something anyways. It looked pretty small, most likely was lint or something? How concerned should I be? How often do they accidentally eat a little lint or something and end up being fine?

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
