White Patch on Citrus Bearded Dragon

Hi! I was given a 2 year old bearded dragon (she wrote down the name of the specific type but I left that sheet at my apartment and I’m back for the summer so I couldn’t tell you the exact kind but I’m pretty sure he’s Citrus). For not knowing much about bearded dragons, I think I’ve done a pretty good job at researching and taking care of him. But about two weeks ago, this white patch showed up on his left hind leg. I’ve looked up every possible search to try to see similar photos of it but can’t find any. And every website has said a white patch most likely just means shedding. This is what it looked like when I first noticed it:

It was moist and looked really gross.
And this is what it looks like now:

So I guess it’s getting better... it’s dry now but doesn’t really look like the rest of his body when it sheds. He’s shedding a lot on the bottom side of his body... but I still just wanted to see if anybody knows if it’s something I should be worried about. Thank you!

Hi there,

That is just a patch of shed that has not come off yet. Nothing to worry about :) Leave it be and it will handle itself.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
