Hello all, I’m a new dragon mom, I have a young Beardie thats 3month of age.
Recently she started to get bothered by something in her mouth/tongue, she does this weird movement with her tongue and it looks very abnormal and concerning. I wonder if there’s some issue with her tongue, or is this a symptom of any illness, or her mouth is too dry?????
Some clips of her doing the “tongue thing”:

She has been eating fine, 3 meals per day, ~20 dubia roaches per meal. She poops regularly everyday.

She doesn’t drink water on her own, though I try to offer her water in the form of dripping water on her nose using a syringe a couple times a day, even then she refuses it. Hence I bath her 5 times a week to try keep her hydrate (but again she doesn’t really drink from the bath either).

Her basking spot is about 36C and her cooling spot is 27C. She has 14 hours of day light and she sleeps without any light.

That looks like she is trying to bite her tongue or it is irritating her for some reason. Maybe some kind of neurological problem. Do you see anything on her tongue that looks like a growth or a cut maybe that could be irritating her? Or maybe something like that along her teeth/gums/edge of her mouth? The kicking behavior often indicates itching or irritation based on what I've seen. If not a growth or physical issue with her tongue or mouth, I wonder if maybe it's some kind of phantom itch. It's good that she is eating well and is active.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
