Hi, I have had my beardie for about 1 month now, he´s a baby, he has eaten dubia roaches or crickets depending on what he wants, anyways this is not the issue, the issue here is that everytime I dust calcium in whatever food he´s eating, he will simply not eat it, he ate 1 dubia with calcium and when I tried giving him the second he refused, I had to clean it so he would eat. This is really concerning to me because I don't want him to have any diseases in the future.
Anything I could do to make him get some calcium will help!

You gotta be more stubborn than he is.
Believe it or not, they are very smart. You've already made a mistake by wiping it off and giving it to him. Trust me, he learned already that he can wait for you to do that ha.

Offer him dusted. If he doesn't eat it, he doesn't eat. He will get hungry enough.

Are you just lightly dusting them? Which powder are you using?

Well I have lightly dusted them but I will definitely offer him dusted and wait for him to eat, do you have any recommendations on brand?

Thanks

Hello,

They are very picky sometimes! Usually if you just keeping trying, eventually you will get
them to eat better, etc. It just takes times.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
