I've noticed Izzy's teeth are pretty shallow now. I'm not sure if this is from fruit or just age, as she's getting up there now. She can't crunch hard/tough stuff now, for sure.

Age will wear down the teeth for sure. Not a whole lot to do about it once they are worn. Soft foods don't provide the abrasiveness that cleans teeth and gums the way shells of insects etc do. You can clean the teeth and gums using oral cleansers, but once the teeth are already worn down they can't be built back as far as I know. Same issue with human teeth in that regard.

Yeah, I was mostly worried that it was because of the sugars in fruit. I might giver her 4 blueberries or a strawberry occasionally.

A little bit of sugar from fruit shouldn't pose a problem if they are an occasional treat like that.

What qualifies as "occasional?" Once a week? I was giving about 4 blueberries a day, or 1 strawberry a day.

There isn't really a set rule, it should just make up a small percentage of the overall diet. A few times a week sounds fine, but it depends on how much she is eating overall.

overfeeding of softer foods such as fruit and insects can lead to plaque formation as the food accumulates around the teeth.

Oh? What harder foods should i have given her? I tried to stray away from super worms cuz I didn't want her to get impacted.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
