Thanks for venturing over here, I guess i have a little problem with my juvenile.
She is 4 months old - I have her for 2 months right now, female Hypo het Trans Leatherback. She lives in 100x50x50cm enclosure, equipped with ProT5 6% 20-22cm from her back, 35w Halogen GU10 plugged on thermostat with thermals in basking zone around 43c and cool side 28-30c. Alongside those with also 2 linear fullspectrum lamps running the length of enclosure - Arcadia Natural Sunlight 2% which supplements mainly visible colors and light and Narva Reptilight which is fimila to Arcadia one but with big emphasis on UVA wavelengths. She was feeding on dubias, locusts and BSFL.
I would say things above are on point, so let's get to the problem...
For first weeks she was pretty energic, eating like a madman - or mad woman. But suddenly she stopped eating that much (I have given her a bit less one week because my dubia shipment was delayed, so she would eat half of what she would normally just to get her going through the week).
She got to the point of not interested in eating whatsoever and only hiding in top corners (will attach older enclosure photo, already working on finishing her climbing wall so she don't sit there all day). That was when I was using equipped described in introduction but instead of 2 linears for full spectrum I was using LEDs, but I found out they are miscolored for them so I thought she was hiding from bad light.
So I changed LEDs for those linears, and guess what - day and night difference in activity, but not appetite. She still likes to hide in evenings but she's definitely active in earlier hours but still not like when arrived.
Flash for feeding, for now for almost a month I have to assist-fed her, like putting food right in the mouth and then she will eat. This way I always try to make her eat at least few dubias.
She is growing but extremely slow, at 2 months she was 50g and now at 4 months she's shy of 100g, where other dragons, or especially one which arrived with her is twice the size...
Fecal tests were done and she's clean based on them, for now I'm trying to get more samples just to be sure she doesn't have any parasites.
